The Hampton Inn had this great grassy area to walk the dogs in. It was fenced but I would not really consider it an off-leash area - I-75 runs to the right and a local road to the left. However, given the fence, a good recall, no distractions and Tessa attached to the check cord and focused on the tennis ball, we were able to get a great play session in - much needed after a day in the car.

At The Hampton Inn

We spent the first night of our short road trip in Tifton, at the Hampton Inn. What a great motel this was! Very dog friendly, the room was clean, cozy and smelled good - not at all the typical motel smell. Tessa was introduced to the motel experience last year and did much better this year - she's becoming an old pro.

I had photo plans for this evening but the weather turned out to be too cloudy so I figured, what the hell, let's go to the park. Called up, dog parks all taken except for the last hour, 7-8 p.m. Well, 7-8 it shall be, then! We were rewarded with a pretty nice sunset.
